Group Cycling is a unique, high-energy group workout that utilizes non-impact indoor stationary cycling, guided imagery, creative lighting, and carefully selected music to inspire you through a workout like no other. Group Cycling is ideal for a broad range of ages, abilities and fitness levels because each participant personally controls the speed, intensity, and duration of each riding interval.

Our certified, knowledgeable instructors format effective, confidence-boosting classes while our incredible members help foster the support and camaraderie the RAC is known for. Group cyclists share a passion; not only in their common interest in group cycling classes, but from sharing the experiences of reaching goals, pushing past personal limits, and being part of a non-competitive, friendly environment where people smile and call you by name.

Come to our Introduction to Cycling class - The first Saturday of every month at 9:30am

Does the thought on indoor cycling intimidate you? It shouldn't. Indoor cycling is for everyone. Whether you are new to fitness or a frequent exerciser, young or old, cycling is a great way to get into shape. The intro to cycling class will ease you into the cycling world. Your instructor will show you proper bike set up and riding technique. You will then be led into 5 minute warm-up followed a 25 minute ride. Bring a towel and a water bottle and be prepared to have some fun. Why not give cycling a whirl?

Combine the RAC's professional and welcoming atmosphere with a dedicated, 1200 square ft studio designed and built specifically for group cycling, soundproof glass walls, a specialized sound system, and 30 state of the art Schwinn Evolution stationary bikes, and the result is an exceptional workout experience.

Excellent Instructors

All RAC Group Fitness instructors undergo rigorous and comprehensive indoor group cycling certification, CPR certification and extensive safety training. RAC instructors continually participate in ongoing, accredited education classes to update themselves on the latest innovations in both Group Cycling and in the fitness industry as a whole. They are trained to expertly and safely coach you through all aspects of a group cycling class, from proper bike adjustment to warm-up, pacing, and cool down.

RAC Classes and Specialty Programs

The RAC offers Group Fitness Classes that vary in training focus and format such as endurance, pacing, power, sprint and recovery interval riding, to name a few.  Throughout the year we offer specialty sessions such as Senior Ride, Intro to Group Cycling, Race Day, and more.

Please come to class with a water bottle, hand towel, and comfortable workout clothes.

Cycling or stiff-soled shoes and bicycling shorts are recommended, but not required.
