Jen Ernst loves sharing her passion for yoga and how it has positively impacted her life. Yoga has allowed her to transform herself from the inside out, igniting strength, radiance and authenticity. In her classes, Jen strives to create a supportive space for each student to discover their physical and mental possibilities without boundaries or judgment. Ultimately, she hopes to empower people to live strong and find balance in their bodies, minds, and spirits.
She has completed the Level 1 Teacher Training with Baron Baptiste and will attend Baron Baptiste's Level 2 Teacher Training in May 2010. Locally, Jen has trained with Master Teacher, Lisa Black at Shakti Power Vinyasa, completing the Teacher Training and Advanced Teacher Assisting Programs. With her ongoing trainings, Jen practices the art of adjusting students, providing hands-on instruction and pose modification for all fitness levels.
In addition to teaching yoga, Jen works fulltime at Valley Medical Center as a Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist. She finds gratitude in helping cardiac patients heal, feel and ultimately wake up from debilitating or limiting lifestyles.
“As I step onto my yoga mat, I am reminded of what’s really important—what’s inside. We all have busy, hectic lives and it is easy to go on auto-pilot & become absorbed in our mind-chatter. Yoga wakes up your body, brings you to the present moment & restores your mental clarity so that you can really listen to heart, ignite your spirit and tap into your physical potential!” ~Jen
